What you see - Manu N Scissors located on the main road in Naraina Vihar, Delhi catches the eye easily thanks to its huge display board outside. Climb up a few steps and you arrive at the waiting cum reception area of this salon. There is a three-seater sofa on one side and the corner is decorated with a fish tank. There is a magazine rack on your right to entertain those waiting.

The interiors of this salon are done up in white, black and beige. Most of the furniture and tools used at the salon are also in sync, in black. So is the staff.

The salon may not come across as very large but the space has been well utilized. The rear area of the salon has private cabins that are used for waxing and other beauty treatments.

What you get - The unisex salon provides hair care and beauty treatments. The hair care services are very popular especially the hair spa treatment here (Rs. 650) and hair cuts (Rs. 320 onwards). You can seek advice from the staff here who can suggest what kind of styling or treatment would suit you. The salon offers hair fall treatment, hair repair treatment and more.

The owner Manu is himself a stylist here and is very friendly. Many a times, you will find him snipping tresses into style. He steps in for tasks that require his attention and completes them in a jiffy. We liked the styling and spa treatment where L’Oreal products were used.

At Manu N Scissors, different kinds of facials are also offered. This includes Pearl facial, Gold facial, Anti-tan facial and Clean ups. Pedicures, manicures and threading are also done. The salon also offers party make-ups starting from around Rs. 1,300. MAC and Krylon products are used here.

Our verdict - Manu N Scissors is not a very spacious salon but is comfortable enough. The salon offers good services and the owner makes you feel welcome. Beauty treatments for men are also offered at the unisex salon but it seems to be more popular with the ladies. The ambience is satisfactory and the prices are reasonable. While you get yourself pampered with beauty treatments, they ensure that they serve you tea and coffee too. Parking space is available right outside the salon.
