is celebrating Women’s Day by holding the 6th International Association of Women in Radio and Television (IAWRT) Asian Women’s Film Festival which will showcase the works of women filmmakers. The festival theme is, 'Breaking Boundaries – Shared Space'. The festival starts on 7th March and continues till 8th March.
Photography enthusiasts can look forward to ‘I’ Celebrate ‘Me’, a photography exhibition being held as a part of the IAWRT festival. It will exhibit photographs by Srikant Kolari. The theme of this exhibition is the transgender community of Tamil Nadu.
Sahitya Kala Parishad is also participating in this festival and will present a special photography exhibition, ‘I am Women of India: From Vedic times to the Present.’ There will also be a poster exhibition by Zubaan on the women’s movement in India, titled, 'Poster Women'.
